Marketing & Admissions Assistant - Hallfield School

Edgbaston, Birmingham

Full time (40 hrs per week), all year round.

Actual Salary £24,933 - £29,571 per annum dependent on experience and skills

We are seeking a proactive and organised Marketing & Admissions Assistant to support the promotion and continued growth of the school. This varied role sits at the heart of our marketing and admissions activity, helping to attract new families and ensure an excellent experience for prospective parents.

Working within the Marketing and Admissions team, the successful candidate will support digital marketing campaigns, content creation and communications, while also assisting with the admissions process and key school events.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong administrator, relatively early in their marketing career who wants experience across the full marketing mix! You will be proactive, collaborative, and eager to develop and learn on the job. Creative flair and an eye for detail are required.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Admissions & Communication, the Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

o Supporting delivery of the school’s marketing activity, including Meta advertising campaigns

o Creating and managing content for the website, social media and email campaigns

o Coordinating the weekly school newsletter and termly magazine

o Updating website content and supporting the production of marketing materials

o Assisting with admissions enquiries and maintaining accurate records on the school MIS

o Supporting prospective families through the admissions process

o Helping plan and deliver open mornings, tours and other school events

The Person

The key skills, experience and qualities required to be a Marketing & Admissions Assistant:

o Experience in digital marketing, particularly Meta advertising

o Strong organisational and administrative skills

o Excellent written and verbal communication

o High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

o A professional, welcoming approach when working with prospective families

o Familiarity with Canva, WordPress and Mailchimp would be advantageous.
